Domaine Daulny features 37 acres of vines divided into about 50 plots with varying soils. These Sauvignon Blanc vines average 40 years of age and are hand harvested.  A small percentage of the cuvée is aged in well-seasoned, oversized oak barrels, which gives the wine a bit more complexity without tasting oaky.

Typical chalky mineral dominates the nose and palate, with apple and peach, touches of honey and big acidity to balance. A beautiful example of what Sancerre should be.
