Family-owned since 1898, the Etz Brothers are now the 4th generation of winemakers. They place their emphasis on a peppery and spicy style of Grüener Veltliner, and we’re glad they do.
We get nice spice on the nose, with clay minerality, honeydew, cantaloupe, lemon citrus, and interesting celery notes on the palate. This wine finishes with citrus peel and good acidity.
try it with: Fondue, crème fraîche dressed edamame salad on greens, butter poached whitefish atop potato pancakes, roasted chicken
