This property, owned by the Boissonneau family since 1839, is situated in the Entre Deux Mers region. Since 2007, the vineyard has been farmed organically, and it’s been certified organic since 2011.
This white is made from a blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Semillon, and 5% Muscadelle. The Sauvignon Blanc undergoes a “maceration pelliculaire”, i.e. contact between the skins and the free-run juice (juice that is obtained without pressing). The different varieties are vinified separately and fermented in stainless steel, creating a crisp white with weight, ripe apple notes, and big minerality lingering on the finish.
