The label says “Blaufränkisch (Austria’s name for the grape). But we could also call it Lemberger, Blauer Limberger, Frankovka, Modra Frankinja, Kékfrankos, or Gamé. But heck, Blaufränkisch is kind of fun to say. And, this is a fun wine. Black cherry and cassis, hints of leather, soft tannins and good acidity make it a good match with a variety of meals and people. Pick up a bottle and be the first on your block to say, “Wanna come over for dinner and Blaufränkisch?”
Here we add information on wines as they come in. We will try to keep up with out-of-stocks and vintage changes but we make no promises. For the most up to date information call, email or stop by. Cheers!
