Alessandro Leguio, father to Daniela, Rosanna and Antonella, winemakers and owners of Tre Donne meaning 'Three women”. Alessandro reluctantly handed the winery to his daughters after generations of the estate being passed from father to son. The women got more awards for their first vintage than the father did throughout his career.
This is a Piedmont blend of Pinot Noir, Barbera, Dolcetto and the extremely rare grape Freisa. We get pretty red fruit on the nose mingling with touches of flowers and spice. Some time in oak adds a bit of weight and texture on the palate while nice acidity keeps it in balance.
Here we add information on wines as they come in. We will try to keep up with out-of-stocks and vintage changes but we make no promises. For the most up to date information call, email or stop by. Cheers!
