Region: Puglia IGP
Varietal: Primitivo/ Zinfandel
Yay, it’s science time! DNA fingerprinting has determined that the Primitivo grape and the Zinfandel grape are both extremely similar variant of a Croatian grape called Crljenak Kaštelanski. Some now call it “ZCP”.
Enough of the cork- dork stuff. With 30 minutes or so of air, this fruit forward dry red is spicy and packed with dark berries, ripe plums, cocoa and rosemary on the nose. In the mouth, it mirrors the aromas with nice acidity for balance. Whatever the grape is called, it’s delicious.
Here we add information on wines as they come in. We will try to keep up with out-of-stocks and vintage changes but we make no promises. For the most up to date information call, email or stop by. Cheers!
