Region: Rotaliano DOP
Lechthaler family has been making wines in Trentino since 1905 and were one of the first producers in the area to bottle their wines (instead of large barrels). They worked with the Togn family for years, who purchased the brand in the 1980's. Now run and operated by Luigi Togn.
This 100% Teroldego (ter-ŌL-dego) comes from Campo Rotaliano in the province of Trento. Teroldego Rotaliano that is made in Trentino received DOC status in 1971. We get a touch of oak on the nose with dark berry and black fig. More on the palate with a bit of spice, balanced acidity, a touch of meatiness- in a good way- and light tannin on the finish.
Here we add information on wines as they come in. We will try to keep up with out-of-stocks and vintage changes but we make no promises. For the most up to date information call, email or stop by. Cheers!
