Cava is a Spanish champagne Method wine that has been made in the Penedés region since the 1890’s This blend of Parellada and Chardonnay is sustainably grown as well as rested on the lees for 12 months.
This dry Cava delivers aromas of yeasty baked bread along with ripe apple and pear fruit on the palate with a touch of citrus, tight bubbles and good acidity.
Sparkling, bubbly, fizzante, we love these wines. While Champagne only comes from Champagne, France (and it deserves its own name, it is a unique and special wine in this category) there are plenty of excellent champagne style wines at all price points. We look forward to sharing them with you.
